This pattern comes in four sizes to fit newborn through 24 months and can be knit in any worsted weight yarn. The sizes and yardages are estimated as follows (when knit to a gauge
of 16 stitches and 23 rows = 4” in reverse stockinette with a single
0-6 month size (18”)–220 yards
6-12 month size (20”)–275 yards
12-18 month size (22”)–350 yards
18-24 month size (24”)–440 yards
There are many suggestions included for how to customize your sweater
with variations for length, multiple colors and button arrangements, as
well as instructions to omit the pompom detail if you so choose. Baby Bluejay is a versatile hooded vest and will keep your favorite littles warm and cozy all winter!
