Yarn Along–A Giveaway!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving!  Now we’re really in the home stretch to Christmas, aren’t we?  Are you feeling as behind as I am?  I think I’ve bitten off a bit more than I can chew, to be honest, but I’ll do my very best to finish all the time sensitive projects in time (and if not…I’m saving Michael’s Solstice present for last, so I’m sure he’ll understand if he gets it a few days late)

One of my go-to books for quick and beautiful gift ideas is More Last Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson.  Her book is filled with fantastic treasures to knit up in mere hours.  I’ve done so many of the patterns in this book and it’s definitely one of my favorites!

I’ve put together a prize package that includes a copy of this book, a super bulky scarf knit by me from one of her patterns in Ella Rae Yarns Mega 100% wool in Navy AND a project bag

You can enter to win this collection of some of my favorite things just by using the Rafflecopter link below!  You can earn 1 entry by commenting on this post and telling me what your favorite go-to last minute gift is, and 2 more entries for visiting my Facebook page and liking it!  The giveaway closes Monday 12/8 at midnight CST and a winner will be chosen and notified on Tuesday, so be sure to enter for your chance to win!

Happy Holidays and good luck!

  1. I will be checking back with this post later today to see all the last minute gift suggestions because I need them! I tend to select projects that require more time than "last minute" even when they are. You're right – this book does have great projects. Thanks for the reminder. Digging my copy out now πŸ™‚

  2. I love that book! I've probably checked it out from the library 3 times. If I don't win, I should just buy it. My favorite last minute gift is a hat. Or booties for a baby. I'm so glad I didn't miss the giveaway. I've been behind on blog reading this week ;). I'll need to let my other knitting friends know!

  3. My comment got eaten! I'll try again πŸ™‚
I'd love this book! I'm not an accomplished enough knitter to do last minute knit gifts, so I usually do something food related. A fun kitchen item, a tasty treat, etc.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. My favorite last minute gift is fingerless mittens. They are reasonably quick and don't take a lot of yarn so I can usually find plenty of stash yarn to work with.
