One Dozen Shawls for Love

IMG_1469

My dear, sweet blogger friend Ginny of Small Things is organizing a raffle of beautiful hand knit shawls to benefit Iraqi refugees, especially the women and children whose lives have been turned upside down there.  You can read about all the details on her post here–One Dozen Shawls for Love.  The organization she’s supporting is called Preemptive Love and they focus on meeting the immediate needs of those displaced with the long-term goal of promoting sustainability by funding small business start ups.

I’ve donated my Follow Your Arrow shawl in Knit Picks Gloss 70% merino wool/30% silk blend yarn in Guava and Robot to the cause.  I hope you’ll stop by her blog to read more about and support this effort!  All of the instructions for how to enter the raffle to win this or one of eleven other gorgeous shawls can be found on her site.  I hope you’ll take a few moments to check it out.
