Yarn Along–Featherounds

I have been knitting this same hat pattern over and over and over.  It’s my newest design that will be released next month!  I really enjoy offering patterns that give the knitter options, and lots of value for the purchase price.  Featheround has instructions to create either a beanie or a tam style hat in four sizes–baby (child, sm adult, lg adult).  I’ve just opened up signups for test knitters in my Ravelry group–I’m especially looking for anyone interested in knitting the baby and child sizes.

As for reading, I’ve just gotten my copy of The Magic of Shetland Lace Knitting: Stitches, Techniques, and Projects for Lighter-than-Air Shawls & More and am enjoying it immensely!  I have some pretty major plans for the new year that involve lace, so this is an excellent resource!

Linking up with Ginny today for Yarn Along and Nicole for Keep Calm Craft On!

  1. I can’t wait to get going on this pattern – your feather patterns are just too fabulous, Jennie.

I’ve bought yarn for an adult beanie, plus enough to make some matching handwarmers… and also some yarn to do a baby beanie. I have a little niece or nephew incoming this summer, God willing, and I’ve picked a tropical teal yarn (KnitPicks Swish DK in Marina) to make a Featheround baby beanie that should be great for summer, whether it’s a boy or a girl.

    • How exciting Claire! Baby will love a Featheround! Marina is a gorgeous color-that’s what Knit Picks sent for the Lady Wren sample! I’m so glad you’re going to help me again!
