It’s March 1st! I’m so excited to get started on my Spring Clean Stash Down Challenge! From now until April 30th I’ll be working diligently to knit through some of my yarn stash. I hope you’ll join me! You can share here on my blog in the comments section, in the Stash Down Ravelry thread, or on Instagram using #61dayspringcleanstashdown (I’m @alovelyhomemadelife–feel free to tag me!)
I’ve decided on 6 shawls from Kirsten Kapur’s Shawl Book One that I want to knit, and that will work out nicely to use up a whole basket of stash yarn. I wrote up all the specifics in this post, if you’d like to take a look–there are links to the specific patterns and yarns shown below as well.
My only task to finish before I get started with the Stash Down is my Blue Sand Cardigan. I’m soooo close–just one and a half sleeves left, then a million ends to weave in and blocking. I’m hoping to be able to take it to Colorado with me for Spring Break–it’s definitely more appropriate attire for their climate than Texas’! Once that’s done, I’m going to dive into this basket of yarn and knit up some gorgeous new shawls…because…you know…#knitalltheshawls.
Are you working on knitting or crocheting some stash? How about your fabric stash? Beads? All of my fellow multicraftuals are welcome to post about any and all of your stash down efforts! I can’t wait to see all of our progress!
