Mini Shawls

Did you have a nice long Easter weekend?  I shared a few pics of the family on Monday–check them out here!

As far as knitting goes, I’ve been focusing on the Bowties Are Cool samples for Knit Picks, but I also carved out some time to participate in Francoise Danoy’s #5shawls5days challenge to learn about the basic behind some different shawl shapes.  It was really fun to sit down with some scraps and just improvise.  I’ve been reading some vampire fiction lately, but not much else.  Isla hasn’t been sleeping well again, so my evening working/relaxing time has been somewhat diminished.  I’m hoping she gets herself sorted out soon…I missed all of The Walking Dead on Sunday night 🙁  #firstworldproblems

On Thurdsay, I’ll be launching my brand new line of knitting stitch markers in my Etsy shop!  I’m so excited to share them with you, and I’m planning an awesome free gift for all order placed by April 8!  Sign up below for my newsletter if you’d like a reminder!  I only send out about one update per month, so I solemnly swear not to clog up your inbox!

  1. those little shawls are awesome. what a fun project idea. sorry your little one is not sleeping well….the walking dead…oh no you can’t miss that! Hope all is well soon!

    • You didn’t miss it! The sweater came out rather big, so I’m still trying to figure out the styling :/ It’s more of a cozy oversized house sweater really, which maybe doesn’t make for the most interesting FO pics. I’ll work on it tho! Thanks for asking after it!
