Stash Down Woes

Full disclosure: my stash down efforts have been tanking this week... Between yarn tourism, finding excellent sale yarn for a Citadel and receiving a giant box of yarn support, I've added 19 skeins this week...and only knit up 1.  *Sigh*

On the bright side, we had an excellent trip to Colorado!  The kiddos and I had a great time with family and it was nice to get away for a bit.  I also got to visit the lovely ladies at My Sister Knits yarn shop in Fort Collins for shopping and knitting.  Julie has such a wonderful selection of yarns, and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming--it's a definite must see if you're in the area!  I picked up MadTosh and Hedgehog Fibers yarns for a new shawl design and two gorgeously soft skeins of Woolfolk fingering for a hat idea.  I'm so excited to work on them!

But first--sample knitting!  Two shawls, one looped cowl, a hat and a pair of legwarmers--that shouldn't take too long, right?

So...maybe next week I'll have some better news about the state of my stash.  But even if I don't, I'll still be happily squishing all of my lovelies, dreaming of new designs and sneaking in a few rows here and there.

I caved and started the tweeny vampire novels was bound to happen I suppose.  I'm not proud of it... ;P

Linking up with Ginny for Yarn Along and Nicole for Keep Calm, Craft On this week.  Happy Crafting, Friends!
