Apricots and Secrets
I feel like I've been so secretive lately! I've had a submission design in the works for several weeks, and now it's finished! Not as down to the wire as the last one I pursued (that has been accepted, yay!), but I've left myself just a couple of days to polish everything up and get the proposal in on time. So I treated myself to a cup of coffee in my new favorite mug from Knit Picks and some fresh summer fruit. I'm so excited the apricots are back! They might just be my favorite treat!
Thank you for making Mother of Invention's launch last week so wonderful! And don't forget that you can pre-order the Looking Back e-book and have Mother of Invention right now plus two new designs to surprise you over the next couple of months! (FYI--they're fantastically fun to knit, with just the right amount of unconventional elements!)
I recently heard an interview with Joe Hill, the author of The Fireman on NPR and impulse-bought the book to read. It sounds deliciously sci-fi--just what I need right now to give my brain a break from all of this knitting!
I hope you've all been well! Linking up with Ginny for Yarn Along and Nicole for Keep Calm, Craft On.
